Vectorportal Free Vectors Update 12/20/09

This week's update of Vectorportal brings cool John Lennon vector with lyrics of his famous song Happy Xmas. We also uploaded several tribal vectors and five calendars for 2010 submitted by Stock Graphic Designs. Snowflakes Vector Set makes it easy to create your own Illustrator brushes and symbols and then spray them all over artboard to create cool Christmas backgrounds. That's how this Christmas background was created.

Update: 12/13/09: New Free Vectors For Christmas

Another free vector image of Santa Claus and nice collection of design elements for holiday season by Graphic River are new additions to our growing collection of free vectors. We also added several new vector cliparts and updated Flags section with wavy vector flags of USA and UK.

Vectorportal Designs In The Wild

Banca Intesa's Ad Campaign

Banca Intesa is one of top 10 largest European banks with huge international presence. Their Serbian branch just started "Festival of Saving" marketing campaign which included TV and web flash ads. To create video for their campaign, designers used this vector design from Vectorportal.com. Flash video also featured these vintage 3D stars from our site. It is also possible that one of our vector sunbursts were used, but we do not have any proof of that.

Companies as big as Banca Intesa most often use either local or international ad agencies for their marketing campaigns. All we can say is that they did a very good job, creating effective advertisment with design elements flying in and out, finally creating original Vectorportal design linked above.

Fox Syracuse Uses Vectorportal's Vectors To Design TV Ads

Fox Syracuse is a local TV station in the US, part of Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc. In the footer of their web site you can see attribution given to Vectorportal. All I can say is - way to go guys. It's a small thing to do for such a company, but fair thing to do to Vectorportal. 

Hernan Prado Uses Vectorportal's Designs To Illustrate Book For Kids

Vectorportal.com was one of dozen vector sites that contributed free vectors to Hernan Prado's book Tadeo Buenas Noches (Good Nights Tadeo). Take a look at this site to find out more (In Spanish only).

Vectorportal Contributes Free Vectors To Scribus

Scribus is an Open Source program that brings award-winning professional page layout to Linux/UNIX, Mac OS X, OS/2 Warp 4/eComStation and Windows desktops with a combination of "press-ready" output and new approaches to page layout.In last few months Vectorportal has contributed with several template designs that will most likely be included with new versions of this software.
